Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect nursing care to adolescent and adult inpatient behavioral health patients as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Assess patients’ physical and psychological status throughout the continuum of care; implement the nursing process; maintain a safe therapeutic milieu; contribute to treatment plans by developing, implementing, and documenting goals and interventions informed by patient strengths and psychiatric presentations. Requires Massachusetts RN licensure; BSN preferred; advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorder treatments; Trauma-Informed Recovery knowledge; crisis management and de-escalation skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts RN license (valid)
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- CPR certification
- Experience in psychiatric or substance use inpatient settings preferred
- BSN preferred
