Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for adult inpatient behavioral health on a night shift in Holyoke. You will provide direct and indirect care to patients, families, and guardians; assess patients’ physical and psychological condition continuously; collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to develop, implement, and document treatment goals and interventions; maintain a safe therapeutic milieu aligned with MiraVista Behavioral Health Center values; utilize the nursing process and trauma-informed care principles; demonstrate crisis management, de-escalation, and safe restraint reduction as needed; participate in shift rotations including weekends and holidays; require MA RN license and CPR certification; BSN preferred; prior psychiatric or substance use disorder inpatient experience is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities
- Understanding of Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care
- Valid CPR certification
- Experience in psychiatric or substance use inpatient settings preferred
- Crisis management and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
