Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health unit, you will assess patients’ physical and psychological status throughout the continuum of care, participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team, help develop and document treatment plans and interventions, maintain a safe therapeutic milieu, and respond to crises with de-escalation and trauma-informed care. The role entails providing direct and indirect care for adolescent and adult patients, with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, and requires MA RN licensure, CPR certification, and experience in psychiatric or substance use inpatient settings; BSN is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- BSN preferred
- Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities
- Understanding of Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care
- Valid CPR certification
- Experience in psychiatric or substance use disorders inpatient settings preferred (restraint reduction, de-escalation, crisis intervention)
- Shift differential availability (Evenings, Nights, Weekends)
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team and document treatment plans
