Job Summary
Deliver exceptional nursing care to adult behavioral health patients by assessing status, implementing clinical interventions, and developing care plans. Administer medications, insulin, and IV fluids while documenting thoroughly, and inspect wounds to ensure safety. Provide direct patient care according to the provider's prescribed plan, closely monitoring progress and reporting changes. Collaborate with providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure exceptional outcomes. Work scheduled weekly hours of 24, with evening and night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred)
- Current state licensure (or covered compact licensure) as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- One (1) year of professional experience practicing as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS Basic Life Support
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support acceptable in lieu of BLS
Desired Qualifications
- Recent Behavioral Health experience (preferred, not required)
- EPIC Electronic Health Record training (preferred, not required)
- De-Escalation Training (preferred, not required)
