Job Summary
Assess patients' physical and psychological conditions on an ongoing basis and maintain a safe therapeutic milieu while providing direct care to patients, families, and legal guardians. Utilize the nursing process to help develop, implement, and document appropriate goals and interventions within the multidisciplinary treatment team. Manage crisis situations and de-escalation with flexibility and creativity, ensuring all care aligns with the Trauma-Informed Recovery model. This evening shift role requires weekend and holiday rotation, with compensation determined by relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Valid CPR certification
- Weekend and Holiday Rotation
- 24-Hours, Evening Shift 3:00p - 11:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- Previous experience in psychiatric, or substance use disorders inpatient, restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention
- Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities
- Understanding of the Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care
- Crisis management and time management skills
- Flexibility, creativity, ability to multi-task, and ability to manage stressful situations in a calm, organized and professional manner
