Job Summary
REGISTERED NURSE, RN - ADOLESCENT INPATIENT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH: The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care of psychiatric adolescent patients; coordinates interdisciplinary team efforts; administers medications; provides crisis intervention, patient and family education, and group therapy; maintains infection control, documentation, patient safety, and adherence to governing nursing regulations; requires PA RN licensure and BLS, with preferred Bachelor's in Nursing and 1-2 years psychiatric experience; rotates shifts and may travel between system locations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved by American Heart Association required.
- Act 33 with renewal.
- Act 34 with renewal.
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
