Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) position in adolescent inpatient behavioral health. Provides direct and indirect care to patients, families, and guardians; conducts ongoing physical and psychological assessments; participates as a multidisciplinary team member to develop, implement, and document individualized treatment goals and interventions. Requires active MA RN license; BSN preferred. Must have knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment modalities and Trauma-Informed Recovery. CRP certification and crisis management skills are essential. In this 32-hour evening shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) with weekend rotation, responsibilities include maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu, patient safety, and contributing to the treatment plan. Opportunities to work with both adolescent and adult programs. Competitive compensation with shift differentials: $4 evenings, $10 nights, $3 weekends. Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities
- Understanding of the Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care
- Valid CPR certification
- Experience in psychiatric or substance use disorders inpatient settings preferred
- Crisis management and time management skills
