Job Summary
Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, employing evidence-based nursing practices to develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive nursing assessments, planning and implementing care, documenting accurately, coordinating discharge planning, maintaining licensure and continuing education, and adhering to regulatory requirements (TJC, SC DPH, CMS) as well as organizational policies. Night shift with potential weekend/holiday/on-call duties; collaborates with providers and family to achieve measurable patient outcomes; supports cost containment and quality improvement initiatives. Bonus eligibility noted.
Required Qualifications
- Education - Associate degree in Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current RN license in SC or multi-state license recognized by NCSBN, compact license preferred
