Job Summary
Assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions, and develop care plans to enhance outcomes on the acute rehab unit. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to collect vital signs, administer IV medications, and accurately stage and measure wounds. Evaluate and revise the plan of care consistently with state practice policies and organizational procedures to ensure a safe therapeutic environment. Requires current RN licensure, BLS certification, and EPIC training. Schedule includes 24 weekly hours on nights.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
- 1 year of clinical patient care experience in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in an acute rehabilitation facility
- EPIC Electronic Health Record training
