Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Acute Pediatrics (School Age to Adolescent), Night shift, full-time. Provides direct, patient- and family-centered care in an acute inpatient pediatric setting, performing nursing assessments, developing and updating individualized plans of care, coordinating with the healthcare team, and ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities include data collection, assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, discharge planning, and ongoing communication with patients, families, and the care team. Requires adherence to licensure requirements, regulatory standards (TJC, SC DPH, CMS), and organizational policies; may include weekend/holiday/on-call scheduling. Bachelor's degree preferred; 1 year RN experience required; RN licensure active in the practicing state.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing or nursing diploma with RN licensure
- Current RN license recognized in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a registered nurse
