Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - Women's Unit (GYN)

Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care for women's and post-surgical patients on the Night shift (7 pm - 7 am), performing the full nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Partner with patients and families to set care goals, provide bedside teaching, and coordinate interdisciplinary rounds while documenting safe, quality outcomes. Uphold evidence-based practice standards, participate in performance improvement activities, and mentor preceptors to support the clinical workforce. Maintain compliance with Georgia Nurse Practice Act and Wellstar safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in nursing
- Graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
- Reg Nurse (Single State)
- RN - Multi-state Compact
- Basic Life Support
- BLS - Instructor
- BLS - Provisional
- Neonatal Resuscitation Prvdr
- NRP - Instructor
- NRP-Provisional
- Minimum 2 years direct patient care experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- Optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and holds basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills along with customer service skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills
