Conduct clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient/family centered care. Perform nursing assessments, develop individual plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team, and validate goals with patients and families. Provide direct care consistent with the RN scope of practice, delegate tasks appropriately, and monitor quality of care through performance indicators and audits. Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and cost containment principles while maintaining licensure and completing mandatory education. This role requires willingness to float to various units and may involve weekend, holiday, and on-call work.
