Registered Nurse RN - Acute Care

Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care for Night shift, full-time. The RN contributes as an interdisciplinary team member to deliver individualized high-quality, safe patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) and evidence-based practice. Responsibilities include patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, effective communication with patients and families, bedside shift reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and ongoing patient education. The role emphasizes collaboration within Wellstar’s governance model, adherence to professional practice standards and policies, ongoing professional development (including precepting/mentoring), and participation in data collection and performance improvement to optimize patient outcomes. The position requires licensure as an RN, with applicable state or multi-state credentials, and compliance with required certifications and safety standards.
