Job Summary
Night shift RN in acute care providing patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include applying the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation), ensuring individualized care, coordinating with care teams, maintaining documentation, and upholding Wellstar policies and professional standards. Emphasizes relationship-based care, cultural sensitivity, performance improvement, and collaboration to promote safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (single state or RN-Compact multi-state license)
- BLS Basic Life Support certification (ARC-BLS or equivalent)
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred
- Less than 1 year direct patient care experience or completed nursing program clinical hours
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; strong communication skills; proficient with healthcare technology and documentation
