Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in acute care units at Wellstar Paulding. Provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, and supports a safe, high-quality care environment. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care; interdisciplinary rounds; timely documentation; and promotion of evidence-based practice. Opportunities to serve as a preceptor/mentor, participate in performance improvement, and uphold professional standards and policies. Requires licensure as an RN, adherence to state practice acts and ethics, and ongoing professional development. Sign-on bonus and strong benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse license (Single State) upon hire
- RN - Multi-state Compact upon hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
- BLS - Instructor certification upon hire
- BLS - Provisional certification upon hire
- Less than 1 year direct patient care experience
- Completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
