Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care, Surgical Specialty, FT, Day

Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient/family centered care using evidence-based practices. Conduct assessments, develop individual plans of care, and validate goals with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Deliver direct care to assigned patients on a 30-bed med-surgical unit, managing overflow from general surgery, trauma, and medical services. Monitor quality of care, complete performance improvement audits, and incorporate cost containment principles into daily practice. Adhere to all compliance policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements including TJC and CMS standards. Schedule includes day shifts with potential weekend, holiday, and on-call work.
