Job Summary
Provide patient-centered nursing care in acute care settings (surgical/orthopedics/trauma) as part of an interdisciplinary team. Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver individualized, evidence-based care; coordinate care through effective partnerships; advocate for patients and families; uphold professional practice standards and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Serve as a preceptor/mentor for other nurses to support a qualified workforce and ensure safe, high-quality patient care aligned with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in nursing or Graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing
- RN - Multi-state Compact
- Basic Life Support
- BLS - Instructor
- BLS - Provisional
- Reg Nurse (Single State)
- Bachelor’s Degree Nursing Preferred
- Less than 1 year Clinical hours experience preferred
