Job Summary
Part-time RN on a 28-bed post-surgical unit (Telemetry) at the Wellstar Paulding campus in Hiram, GA, working the night shift (7p-7a). The RN provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, documents care thoroughly, and supports evidence-based practice and safety standards. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care; coordinating with care teams; maintaining high-quality, individualized patient care; and contributing to professional practice through adherence to policies and continuous improvement. Requires current Georgia RN licensure, BLS, and at least 2 years of direct patient care experience; associates-degree or nursing diploma with BSN preferred; strong communication and critical thinking skills. Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (RN) – Georgia licensure required; BSN preferred
- RN licensure in Georgia (Single State) or RN-Compact (multi-state)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience
- Strong English communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English; proficient in utilizing technology for clinical care
- Ability to work night shift (7p-7a) in a fast-paced inpatient setting
- Knowledge of nursing process, evidence-based practice, and documentation standards
- Familiarity with Magnet-designated units and patient safety standards
