Job Summary
Part-time Registered Nurse in a 28-bed post-surgicalTelemetry unit on the night shift (7p-7a) at Wellstar Paulding campus. The RN provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, participates in evidence-based practice and performance improvement, and supports the Wellstar nursing practice model. Role includes precepting/mentoring others, maintaining clinical competencies, documentation, and adherence to policies and safety standards. Requires RN licensure, BLS, and a minimum of 2 years direct patient care experience; degree in Nursing (Associates or Diploma; BSN preferred). Magnet designation noted; sign-on bonus eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Georgia or Multi-state/Compact license (RN-COMPACT)
- BLS certification (or ARC-BLS)
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Night shift ability (7p-7a)
- Strong English communication and basic computer skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
- Evidence-based practice and critical thinking skills
