Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care, Pediatrics, PRN, Night

Conduct clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient pediatric setting, utilizing evidence-based practices throughout the nursing process. Assess patient status, develop individual plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and validate goals with patients and families. Provide direct care consistent with the RN scope of practice, delegate tasks appropriately, and monitor quality of care through performance indicators and audits. Teach patients and families using familiar language, maintain a safe environment adhering to safety protocols, and report changes in condition to the healthcare team. Complete mandatory education, maintain licensure, and adhere to all organizational policies including infection control and cost containment. Night shift work with weekend and holiday scheduling; Prisma Health serves over 1.2 million patients annually in South Carolina.
