Job Summary
Part-time Night Shift RN in Acute Care Med/Surg with Telemetry, focusing on Cardiac, Renal, and Wound Care. The RN provides patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, practicing according to evidence-based standards and the Wellstar model. Responsibilities include the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation), care coordination, documentation, and participation in interdisciplinary rounds. The role emphasizes teamwork, performance improvement, protocol development, and mentorship of other nurses. Requires active RN licensure, BLS certification, and a minimum of 5 years of RN experience; education typically includes an Associate’s degree or Nursing Diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Location: Taylorsville, MS; Night shift, part-time. Sign-on bonus eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state
- RN license (Single State) or RN-COMPACT (Multi-state)
- BLS or ARC-BLS or BLS-I certification
- Minimum 5 years RN experience
- Associates Nursing or Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor’s in Nursing (preferred)
- Ability to read/write/speak English; strong computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
- Evidence-based nursing practice and critical thinking
