Registered Nurse RN - Acute Care Ortho Surgical- Full-Time Night Shift

Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care for acute ortho surgical patients by performing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication through rounds and case reviews while completing timely documentation. Partner with patients and families to set care goals and provide bedside teaching. Mentor staff, students, and other nurses to support workforce development. Participate in performance improvement activities, value analysis, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Uphold Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act standards, TJC safety goals, and Wellstar policies. Maintain BLS certification and demonstrate critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
