Registered Nurse RN - Acute Care Ortho Surgical- Full-Time Night Shift

Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care for acute ortho surgical patients while performing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds and documentation to ensure safe, high-quality care aligned with Wellstar's shared governance and evidence-based practice models. Partner with patients and families to set goals and provide bedside teaching, while mentoring staff and participating in performance improvement initiatives. Maintain licensure and complete mandatory education, functioning in a fast-paced night shift environment with a minimum of two years direct patient care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
