Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Acute Care Oncology at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Night shift, 36 hours per week. Provides quality nursing services to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, and to coordinate patient care plans and daily patient flow. Delivers safe, effective care per policies, maintains documentation, advocates for patients and families, participates in performance improvement, maintains professional licenses and certification, mentors and precepts other nurses, and supports shared governance while adhering to confidentiality and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN licensure in good standing (RN-COMPACT acceptable)
- BLS - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS
- Nurse license(s) as required by state (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
