Job Summary
Organize and provide nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation while delegating aspects of care to other personnel based on licensure and preparation. Coordinate lactation education and support within the nursing division. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Helicopter and ambulance transport required for NICU RNs in Fargo. This role supports Essentia Health's mission to make a healthy difference in people's lives across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota.
Required Qualifications
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required when moving to level 3 NICU RN
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Valid driver's license (implied by helicopter and ambulance transport requirement)
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Pass health screening and immunization review
- Pass background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required
