Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Acute Care NICU with focus on family-centered, evidence-based care in a high-acuity neonatal setting. Provides direct patient care, assesses and plans care, delegates tasks, ensures safety and quality, coordinates discharge planning, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team. Maintains licensure, participates in performance improvement, and supports organizational policies. Night shift; on-call and weekend requirements may apply. Qualifications include an Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), current RN license, and at least 1 year of RN experience (or approved residency pathway).
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Current RN license in state of practice or compact/multistate license
- One (1) year of RN experience (required)
- Nursing residency program completion or equivalent accepted in lieu of RN experience
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (TJC, DHEC, CMS) and South Carolina Nurse Practice Act
- Ability to work night shift, weekends, holidays, and on-call as required
