Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care/MedSurg at Wellstar Kennestone for night shift (7pm–7am), full-time. The RN is a proactive, interdisciplinary team member delivering individualized, high-quality, safe patient care while upholding patient voices, system policies, and the Code of Ethics. The role requires licensure as a Georgia RN (or privilege via eNLC), current BLS, and preferred BSN with potential specialty certification. Key skills include English communication, teamwork, customer service, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, critical thinking, time management, and evidence-based practice. The position is located in Sandy Springs, GA, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing with BSN preferred
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or hold a privilege to practice under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association on the first day of employment
- Preferred: National certification in area of specialty
- Experience with direct patient care
- Ability to read, write and speak English; proficient in technology to support clinical care; basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to function in a fast-paced environment; respond to emergencies with composure
- Excellent time management, critical thinking, and evidence-based nursing practices
