Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - MedSurg Oncology - FT Night

Conduct direct patient care for adult cancer patients on a twenty-eight-bed MedSurg Oncology unit, performing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication through rounds and case reviews while documenting care and supporting service excellence goals. Partner with patients and families to set care plans and provide bedside teaching, adapting delivery to reflect cultural diversity and population-specific needs. Uphold evidence-based practice standards, participate in performance improvement activities, and mentor staff or students to ensure a qualified workforce. Comply with Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and Wellstar policies while completing mandatory education and competency assessments.
