Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - MedSurg Oncology - FT Night

Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care on a 28-bed MedSurg Oncology unit, performing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adult cancer patients. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds and documentation while partnering with patients and families to set care goals. Lead or participate in shared governance activities, value analysis, and evidence-based practice initiatives to improve patient safety and outcomes. Mentor new staff and students to ensure a qualified workforce. Requires a Georgia RN license, BLS certification, and less than one year of direct patient care experience. Work full-time nights from 7pm to 7am at Cobb Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- direct patient care experience
