Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and patient teaching while documenting care and maintaining a respectful clinical environment. Partner with patients and families to set goals and adapt service delivery to population characteristics. Complete mandatory education, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and participate in performance improvement and shared governance activities. Uphold Georgia Nurse Practice Act standards, TJC safety goals, and system policies. Read, write, and speak English; function decisively in fast-paced settings with strong critical thinking skills. Night shift full-time at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and holds basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills along with customer service skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- excellent time management skills

- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours Required or direct patient care experience
