Job Summary
Conduct individualized, high-quality patient care as a proactive member of the interdisciplinary team while upholding the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Utilize evidence-based practice and research within the WellStar Shared Governance and Professional Practice Models to support service excellence goals. Manage direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment, applying strong critical thinking and time management skills to respond decisively to emergencies. Maintain proficiency with technology to support clinical care and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing: Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN)
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Georgia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association on the first day of employment in position
- Experience with direct patient care
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
