Job Summary
Conduct individualized, high-quality patient care in an acute medical-surgical setting as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team. Implement the WellStar Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing standards, and evidence-based research while adhering to Georgia and American Nurses Association practice acts. Utilize technology to support clinical care and manage patient services within a fast-paced environment, responding to emergencies with decisive, composed, and respectful actions. Maintain strong critical thinking, time management, and collaborative skills to uphold system policies and service excellence goals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing: Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN)
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Georgia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association on the first day of employment in position
- Experience with direct patient care
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
