Job Summary
Conduct individualized high-quality patient care in an acute medical-surgical environment while upholding the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support service excellence goals, manage patient services, and utilize technology to optimize clinical care. Respond to emergencies with decisive, composed, and respectful manner, applying critical thinking and evidence-based practice within a fast-paced setting. Maintain strong interpersonal and time management skills to serve patients, families, and significant others effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing: Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN)
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Georgia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association on the first day of employment in position
- Experience with direct patient care
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
