Job Summary
Lead patient care as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring individualized, high-quality, and safe services for patients, families, and significant others. Practice within the WellStar Shared Governance Model, adhering to the Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing standards, and evidence-based research. Uphold the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association ethics, and system policies while supporting service excellence goals. Manage direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing strong critical thinking, time management, and collaborative skills to respond decisively to emergencies. Maintain current BLS certification and English proficiency to optimize technology use for clinical support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing: Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN)
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Georgia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association on the first day of employment in position
- Experience with direct patient care
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and holds basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills along with customer service skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills

Desired Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred
