Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring individualized, safe, and high-quality services for patients, families, and significant others. Uphold the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, WellStar Shared Governance Model, and evidence-based research while supporting service excellence goals. Function in a fast-paced clinical environment by responding to emergencies with decisive, composed, and respectful manner, utilizing strong critical thinking and time management skills. Maintain current licensure in Georgia or eNLC, hold a valid BLS card, and possess basic computer skills to optimize technology use in clinical settings.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing: Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN)
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Georgia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association on the first day of employment in position
- Experience with direct patient care
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to practice nursing using evidence and analytical skills

Desired Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred
- National certification in area of specialty preferred
