Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure safe, individualized patient care. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and bedside teaching while documenting care and promoting a respectful clinical environment. Partner with patients and families to set goals and update care plans, adapting service delivery to population-specific characteristics. Participate in shared governance, evidence-based practice activities, and performance improvement initiatives to drive quality outcomes. Mentor staff and students to support workforce development. Maintain licensure and complete mandatory education while upholding Wellstar policies and accreditation standards. Requires 5 years of direct patient care experience and RN certification.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years RN experience Required
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
