Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients in the Medical Dialysis Unit. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with families for teaching and goal setting. Coordinate safe quality care through interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and timely documentation within the Wellstar Shared Governance Model. Complete mandatory education, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and participate in performance improvement initiatives to promote evidence-based practice. Uphold Georgia Nurse Practice Act standards and system policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in nursing
- Graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing
- Reg Nurse (Single State) 1.00 Upon Hire
- RN - Multi-state Compact 1.00 Upon Hire
- Basic Life Support 2.00
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
