Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality, safe services for patients, families, and significant others. Uphold the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association standards, and WellStar's 5-Star Nursing framework while supporting service excellence goals. Collaborate within a clinical environment managed by Nurse Managers using the WellStar Shared Governance Model and evidence-based practice. Maintain licensure in Georgia or via eNLC, hold a current BLS card, and apply critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced setting. Respond to emergencies with decisive, composed, and respectful manner.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN)
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Georgia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Current BLS card from the American Heart Association
- Experience with direct patient care
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to practice nursing using evidence and analytical skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
