Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care, Med/Surg/Telemetry, Part Time, Day

Conduct clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, utilizing evidence-based practices across the nursing process. Assess and recognize changes in patient status, develop individual plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and validate goals with patients and families. Provide direct care to assigned patients, delegate tasks appropriately, and monitor quality of care through performance indicators and audits. Incorporate cost containment principles, maintain a safe environment adhering to safety protocols, and educate patients and families on learning needs. This role requires a current RN compact/multistate license, an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and one year of RN experience (or equivalent residency). Weekend, holiday, and on-call work may be scheduled. Located at Baptist Easley Med Campus, this position reports to a supervisor within Prisma Health's largest not-for-profit health organization in South Carolina.
