Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care, Med Surg/Post Surgical, Full-time Day Shift (7a-7p) at Wellstar's Lebanon campus. Provides exemplar nursing care using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver patient-centered care for a 28-bed med/surg unit with telemetry and post-surgical patients. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation; coordinating care with the care team; ensuring documentation, safety, and adherence to standards; mentoring/precepting others; and participating in performance improvement and protocol development. Requires an active nursing license, BLS, and a minimum of two years of direct patient care experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (Georgia or compact mobility)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (Bachelor's preferred)
- English language proficiency
- Ability to perform nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, evaluation) in an evidence-based practice environment
