RN—Acute Care, Med Surg/Post Surgical unit on a full-time day shift (7a-7p) at Wellstar. The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team delivering individualized, high-quality, safe patient care. Responsibilities include applying the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) and providing relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, adherence to professional standards and codes of ethics, documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and participation in performance improvement initiatives. The incumbent may serve as a preceptor/mentor to other nurses and staff, supporting governance and ongoing professional development.
