Job Summary
Provide clinical direction for patient care in an acute inpatient IICU setting. Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on nursing assessment, collaborate with physicians and interprofessional teams, and ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality care. Perform nursing tasks within the RN scope, monitor and document patient progress, coordinate discharge planning, educate patients/families, and participate in performance improvement activities. Role may include weekend, holiday, and on-call duties. Minimum requirements include an Associate degree in Nursing, SC RN licensure, and at least 1 year of RN experience; BSN preferred. This role offers a sign-on bonus for external candidates and is located at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC.
