Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care in the ICU acute inpatient setting, performing assessments, developing individual plans of care, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. Monitor patient status, validate priorities, and document progress toward discharge goals while maintaining a safe environment and adhering to safety protocols. Provide patient education, delegate tasks appropriately, and complete performance improvement monitoring audits. Work night shifts with potential weekend and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing
- One (1) year experience as a registered nurse
- Successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program
- Successful completion of a comparable residency from another organization
- 1 year of licensed practical nurse (LPN) experience for internal candidates within the same service line
- Nursing diploma with licensure to practice as a registered nurse
- Current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State
- Licensed to practice as an RN in the state the team member is working
- Night shift availability
- Weekend work availability
- Holiday work availability
- On-call work availability
