Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in an acute inpatient GI Diagnostic Lab setting. Perform nursing assessment and data collection, develop and update individualized plans of care, and collaborate with the healthcare team to implement interventions, evaluate outcomes, and discharge planning. Deliver patient and family education, ensure proper documentation, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Maintain compliance with licensure, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies; demonstrate clinical competency and patient safety in alignment with the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Requires RN license, 1 year of RN experience (or approved residency), and adherence to on-call expectations; day shift in Hillcrest/Simple location with GI Lab responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Education - Associate degree in Nursing
- Current RN license (compact/multistate or state of practice)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- One (1) year experience as a registered nurse or accepted residency/program
- In lieu of experience, Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or equivalent residency accepted
- In lieu of Associate degree, nursing diploma with RN licensure accepted
