Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care, General Surgery, FT, Night

Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, demonstrating competency in the nursing process while adhering to safety protocols, cost containment, and quality improvement standards. Collect data, complete assessments, and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring realistic goals and outcomes are met prior to discharge. Monitor patient status, validate priorities with healthcare members, and delegate tasks as appropriate to maintain a safe environment and ensure continuity of care. Work includes weekend, holiday, and on-call scheduling in the General Surgery unit, which specializes in GI diseases, preoperative, and recovery phases. This non-management role reports to a supervisor and requires a current RN license, an Associate degree (Bachelor's preferred), and one year of experience or equivalent residency.
