Job Summary
Conduct bedside shift reports, update patients and families, and lead the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice. Coordinate safe, quality patient care across cardiac, telemetry, renal, and med-surg units while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to new nurses and staff, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and help develop clinical protocols. Work full-time nights (7p–7a) in a fast-paced environment requiring strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. Requires a registered nurse license with at least five years of experience; direct patient care experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- Minimum 5 years RN experience Required
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills
- customer service skills
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
