Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse on the Night shift (7p-7a) in a 28-bed Med/Surg unit focused on Post Surgical patients. Responsible for applying the nursing process, delivering relationship-based patient-centered care, coordinating with interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practice, and supporting a culture of safety and quality. Acts as preceptor/mentor for staff, participates in performance improvement, and adheres to regulatory standards and organizational policies. Requires an active RN license, BLS, and a minimum of 5 years of RN experience in direct patient care. Location: Waxahachie, TX. Night shift with enhanced sign-on bonus eligible up to $20K for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse)
- Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse license (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years RN experience (direct patient care)
