Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse on the Post Surgical Unit works within an interdisciplinary team to provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care on a 28-bed Med/Surg unit with focus on postoperative patients; responsibilities include evidence-based nursing processes, patient- and family-centered care, documentation, interdisciplinary rounds, and adherence to professional practice standards and patient safety goals. Requires current RN licensure (single state or compact), BLS, minimum 5 years RN experience in direct patient care, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment; night shift 7p-7a in Georgia at a magnet-designated campus with opportunities for nurse residency and sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing or Nursing Diploma or Bachelor's in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
- RN licensure in a single state or RN-Compact multi-state
- BLS - Basic Life Support (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years RN experience in direct patient care
- Ability to read, write and speak English; strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and use of health IT systems
