Job Summary
RN - Acute Care Float at Wellstar Health System (Marietta, GA). Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation) delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care across the continuum. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team, engages in bedside shift reports, rounds, and just-in-time patient teaching, and supports performance improvement initiatives. Requires BSN (preferred), active RN license (US), and BLS; role emphasizes teamwork, clinical competency, and commitment to high-quality patient care. Full-time days (7am–7pm) with emphasis on coordinating care, documentation, and maintaining a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing
- Bachelor's Degree (BSN) preferred
- RN - Multi-state Compact or single state license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- BLS Instructor or Provisional (preferred)
- Knowledge of nursing theory, regulations and practices
- Experience with patient assessment, treatment techniques, and documentation
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to react calmly in emergencies
- Strong interpersonal and teaching skills
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations
