Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for children in acute care float settings, providing safe, family-centered services while supervising and delegating tasks to nursing staff. Collaborate with the health care team to integrate strategic initiatives such as continuous performance improvement and error prevention into daily workflows. Obtain and maintain required certifications including BLS, PEARS, or PALS depending on the specific practice area, and hold a current Washington State driver's license for all positions requiring vehicle use.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Prior experience in a pediatric related health care setting
- Current Washington State RN License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Driving record acceptable to Risk Management
- Current Washington State Driver's license
